Finland has winter and summer intakes. Winter intake starts in September and ends in February. The academic year has 2 semesters per year with exams taking place in the month of February and July. Just like any other Nordic countries visa process is tedious It is advisable to start the process as early as November/December of the previous year in order to be in the best public universities as seats are very limited.
